About the Deck

The Hearts Path tarot is a bright and colourful Tarot deck that follows the Rider Waite Smith System. The images are fun and have a storybook feel to them. The cards are larger than a standard Tarot card size, but my small hands were okay shuffling the deck.

The deck is borderless, the edges are raw, and the backing is reversible.
This deck is suited to beginner Tarot readers and seasoned Tarot readers alike. It possesses a gentle voice, and its wisdom comes through as a soft ray of sunlight.
At first glance, The Hearts Path Tarot reminded me a tiny bit of The Pearls of Wisdom Tarot by Roxi Sims, as well as The Nine Lives Tarot by Annette Abolins. I believe it’s the colourful nature of the deck that brought forth memories of other equally colourful decks.
The cardstock is nice and sturdy while still being comfortably bendy for all your shuffling needs. I say this as an overhand suffler, mind you.
If I had to anthropomorphise this deck, she would be Aunt Jet from Practical Magic.
The Heart’s Path Tarot would be a good choice for you if you find yourself holding an aversion to darker decks and more intense artwork or if you are currently searching for a deck that will not spike your cortisol.

The beautiful thing about tarot is that there is truly a deck out there for everyone, and The Heart’s Path tarot is no exception. That said, the deck pull no punches. Yes, its voice is gentle, but it is also strangely assertive. I used this deck primarily for life mapping, and it did not steer me wrong.
